SPEZI 2019

YM, my supervisor Seva and me attended Spezi 2019 in Gerrmersheim, Germany on 27-28 April 2019. It was quite rewarding to see so much interest in the trike. I wish I had gone  to Germany and back by YM, but I am a realist.
                                                                                                                                                                                                       

YM got proper turn signals in front and a headlamp powered from the solar panel.

The trike has now a 5V power source getting juice right from the traction battery.

I think I will bring the trike to Spezi this year. Enough gathering dust!

Yuramobile has got a 230V 5A charger that should allow a full battery refill within 5 hours.

Upcoming mods

I plan to make such modifications and improvements to the trike with the relevant adjustments of its price:

• buying a dedicated 12 V charger (small and lightweight)
• putting turn signals in proper housings
• installing a 5V solar panel to charge electronics over USB
• installing a 5V headlamp with battery to be charged by the 5V solar panel
• making a stand for the rear wheel to keep it lifted (a folding chair might do:).
